The Shop

Hilderthorpe Cycles are the number one bike shop in Bridlington. The shop has been established in the coastal town for around 20 years and is the largest Cycle showroom in the area always displaying at approx 200 Bikes and a vast stock of a further 600 + bikes, as well as a selection of spares and accesories.

Owners Paul and Lisa Barker along with their two young boys bought the business in January 2006 and have spent most of their time improving many aspects of the shop and the quality of bikes in stock. The shop caters for your first trike all the way through to a fully prepared mountain bike or for a more relaxed top quality electric bike for the person that appreciates a little help from time to time.

We always endeavour to give honest advice to help the customer choose the perfect bike that fits their individual needs and budget however large or small.

Hilderthorpe Cycles can often be seen at outdoor leisure shows up and down the country displaying their Electric and folding bikes to give demos on the latest products from our range. The main shows we attend are listed on the show page and will keep you informed of any last minute shows we can fit in.

In 2007 we decided it was the right time to build a mail order website to offer customers a convenient way to shop from the comfort of their own home as we have taken lots of telephone orders in the past. We are looking forward to the challenge of this fresh area of our business and will strive to offer the personal service we find is so important in our shop. There are no enquiries too big or small and we will try our best to to answer any query as quick as possible.

New from 2008 will be the edition of cycle hire wich will give locals and tourists the pleasure to explore Bridlington and the surounding area on a bike to suit from a traditional pedal bike to an effortless electric bike with ranges of upto 100 miles.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our customers shopping experience and we will take the appropriate steps to ensure 100% satisfaction is always achieved.
